Our Camp Theme: Truth that Makes You Free
As we commemorate America's 250th, we celebrate the remarkable blessings of liberty entrusted to us. The freedoms we enjoy did not come without sacrifice, nor are they preserved by chance. A free nation endures when its people embrace both the rights they possess and the responsibilities that accompany them.
Jesus reminds us that the deepest and most enduring freedom is found in truth. While our nation cherishes political and civil liberty, Christ offers a freedom that reaches the heart—freeing us from sin and calling us to lives marked by faithfulness, wisdom, and love. True freedom is not simply the ability to do as we please, but the opportunity and responsibility to do what is right.
Throughout this Family Camp, we will explore how God's truth forms strong families, faithful churches, and responsible citizens. May we know the Truth that makes us free, cherish the liberties we have received, and faithfully accept the responsibility to steward them for the glory of God and the good of our republic.
"And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free." — John 8:32
