Would you buy a book that had no reviews from an author you did not know? Probably not. The truth is if you want your book to even be considered by readers, it needs reviews.
You may ask, "But what if I get bad reviews?" We urge you to not be afraid of what you need to succeed. If your book is really as good as you think it is, you will get a decent amount of good reviews. This does not mean everyone will like it (you can't please everyone). We encourage you to step out in faith and find out what the world really thinks about your book. Reviews are the key to getting noticed in the ocean of books out there.

The number “13” in not an evil number as the devil has gotten us to believe. But rather, it is a number of great promise and blessing. The number “13” is a number of great blessings given by God.
Recapping the story of Abraham, we all know how God came to Abraham and said that he would make him the “father of many nations” as well as becoming the “father of our faith.” God promised Abraham that he was to have a child, and from that child’s linage would come kings and rulers of “many nations” as well as the Messiah---“the Seed to come.” (See Geneses 16-17.)
Abraham and his wife Sarah were childless and in old age at the time God gave them the Promise. Through their many years of frustration of being childless, they tried to help things along by having a child through Sarah’s slave girl, Hagar. Through this act, their son Ishmael was born.
Years later God came again to Abraham and made the same Promise of Blessing. God iterated that the promised son to be born would be from his own wife. Nine months later, Isaac was born.
Here is the key: Understanding what went on in the relationship between Abraham and God gives us the insight into the number “13.” How and when God gave Abraham the Promise, Abraham’s and Sarah’s struggle, the time involved in receiving the manifestation of the Promise. These are all wrapped-up in the number “13”. Therefore keep the entire Scripture story in mind as we proceed.
In Genesis 16:15-17 it reveals that when “Hagar bore Ishmael, Abraham was 86 years old.” Then “when Abraham was 99 years old the Lord appeared to him” and iterated the Promise again---that He will give Abraham a son by his wife. I will bless her, and she will produce nations; kings of peoples will come from her. (See Genesis 17:1-22.)
* At 99 years old, God’s Promise came. * At -86 years old, Abraham tried to bring about Gods Promise. 13 years between the Promise given and the Promise manifested.
Therefore, 99 minus 86 equals 13. This is “The Number 13 Promise”.

"God is love." 1 John 4:16 While this is a truth we know in our heads, often it is not how we feel about God. Our ideas about God are initially based on parental or authority figures from our childhood. Yet even the best parents are imperfect representatives of God. For that reason everyone's family was dysfunctional to some extent. The opposite is also true that even in the worse families people are still made in the image of God and that image remains even if it is badly distorted. So to varying degrees we have all been disappointed by those whose love was important to us. As a way of protecting ourselves from future disappointments it is tempting to build barriers to stop people getting too close. Unfortunately we can carry these barriers through to our relationship with God and consequently don't feel that God is love because we have unwittingly blocked His love from reaching our hearts. Perhaps it's time to rethink our ideas of God. Do we see Him as the father who runs to meet us when we are broken, dirty and in disgrace (Luke 15:11-32)? Do we see Him as the shepherd who deliberately and patiently pursues us (Luke 15:3-7)? Do we see Him as the farmer who is unbelievable generous to those who don’t deserve it (Matthew 20:1-16)? Do we know that we cannot earn or repay God's love (Titus 3:4-5)? Do we know we are extraordinarily loved (Jeremiah 31:3)? Today's freelance writer lives in Australia. Therefore, we may receive many visitors who would not go to a traditional evangelism site. Many may not even be looking for Jesus when they click onto our site, but Jesus still meets them when they visit. In our experience, God tends to find people right where they are in their life. This may be while they are reading your article about marriage or divorce. It might happen when they read about struggles with sin, or your fictional story. Please keep submitting your various pieces, that can be authored by no one but you.

and women from over 200 countries are attracted to the FaithWriters site by the
various articles dangling on the end of our fishing pole. Many have no other way than the
internet to find out about Jesus. They are able to learn a lot from our site and the various sites to which we have provided links.
To date, at least 358 people have accepted Jesus as Lord and Savior directly through the FaithWriters site. We know it is not about just about numbers. We also know that accepting Jesus and confessing Him is only where the journey starts. But it is honor to consider the fact that God would use us in this way.
We contact every person who leaves an email address, and provide them with more information. Sometimes we correspond with them several times. We even offer to place them in contact with another believer (FaithWriters member) in their country.
