Holiday Closings,Weather and Holiday Delays
As
we look forward to the holiday
season, we wanted to send out a reminder that the holiday season brings a
great
demand on FedEx and UPS. The carriers are already under a severe load
due to COVID-19 and the holidays are guaranteed to make it harder on
them.
From now until after Christmas, both carriers
lift their ground transit guarantee and add days to transit times in some
areas. Further, this time of year adds a greater chance for weather related
delays.
Both
carriers also lift their guarantee when weather is involved regardless of service.
As always, Fabulous Events recommends leaving an extra day or two when placing orders
to allow for any transit delays that may arise.
Please take note of the following closings. Our showrooms will be closed from Saturday, December 18th until Monday, January 3rd. Our warehouses will be closed on Friday, December 24th and Friday, December 31st. Our offices will be closed on Friday, December 24th and Friday, December 31st.
