I was recently reading an article about how Tesla CEO, Elon Musk, generously released Tesla’s patents so people can use their brilliant battery technology to store electricity...

So, I immediately started researching this to see if there are any DIY projects out there that allow people to build their own battery banks using this technology.

After a little research, I found a guy named Michael who’s a mechanic. He found a simple and efficient way to use laptop batteries to store large amounts of electricity.

More than that, he found a way to charge his electricity storage unit during the night to avoid peak hours – which managed to save him more than 70% on his power bill!

Michael is now using this device to keep his house powered in case the grid failed.

He’s also working on an upgrade which allows him to get totally off-grid in the next couple of months.

Here’s a photo of his setup:
I contacted Michael and he let me know that he just put up a brand-new video presentation about his battery setup.

I just watched it and I think you may really like this also. You can watch it here:

This device has huge potential for power storage and backup energy. You’ll also learn about a neat solution for recycling used laptop and power tool batteries.

If you are a DIY or battery enthusiast, you cannot miss this free video presentation.
