A Glimpse into Life with a Mental Illness
We are pleased to share information with you on “An Evening with Phyllis Hyman”, an important production showcasing the life of Phyllis Hyman and her struggle with mental illness. Produced by Kendrell Bowman and Anthony Wayne, in association with Sheryl Lee Ralph and Reginald Van Lee, this production examines the life of the Tony-nominated singer/songwriter and explores her joys and pain through a theatrical performance. Six performances are planned between January 28 and February 5, 2017. We hope you will support the show, which is generously promoting The Bridge and its programs supporting those with mental illness, and spread the word of this meaningful production.
