| In this holiday season, our thoughts turn to home. For many of us, having a home is something we take for granted. Homes provide us with peace and tranquility, a quiet space away from the rough and tumble of the world.
The Bridge houses nearly 1,200 men and women with severe mental illness and substance use disorders. For many, when they moved into Bridge housing, it was the first time in a long time, if ever, that they’ve had a real home of their own.
All of us at The Bridge deeply appreciate the generous support already provided by so many. If you have not yet given, please join in by making a year-end gift in support of The Bridge’s vital housing and program services.
The Bridge is actively developing more supported housing city-wide, and the need is great. Please join us. With your help, more of New York’s most vulnerable will have the opportunity to know the wonderful feeling of a safe, warm home.
