Subject: Driving to Disney world

When I was 11, my parents took my sister and I to Disney World.

We lived in the Midwest, so this meant piling into the family minivan and driving 17 hours to Florida.

Along the way, we stopped for gas, bathrooms, food, and every antique mall my mother spotted from the highway.

But none of those stops were the point.

The point was to get to Disney World.

That was the destination… and though we made stops along the way, it wasn’t Disney World.

That’s how Greg and I think about group piano and Piano Express.

There are a lot of good reasons to teach group lessons:

  • teach more students

  • make your schedule more efficient

  • earn more per hour

  • stop the endless parade of one-on-one beginner lessons

All of that matters. All of that is good!

But it is not our North Star.

At Piano Express, our North Star… our destination!... has always been educational quality.

If group lessons were just a clever way to make more money while giving students a weaker experience, we would have quit 20 years ago.

That was the private standard we had before anyone knew our names.

  • Can students learn better this way?

  • Can they practice more?

  • Can they become more independent?

  • Can they move faster without becoming sloppy?

  • Can they build real musicianship instead of just clicking buttons on a screen?

That’s what we care about.

That’s why we made this webinar.

Not to tell you that “group lessons work.”

We wanted to show you how Piano Express protects the thing you care about most: the quality of your students’ education and the reputation that you’ve built in your community.

This webinar shows you EVERYTHING about Piano Express, and you’ll see (like many studios and schools have) how it is one of the most powerful tools for piano teachers today.

You’ll see that it is…

…better structure.

… more and better practice.

… better feedback for students.

… better use of a teacher’s time and attention.

And yes…

It can also be better for business.

But that’s not the North Star.

We focus on equipping these entrepreneurs with the very best information as it pertains to growing and scaling a successful, profitable music school. We love to help people learn how to market and scale their local and online studios. We do this by showing them how to teach students in a group setting rather than providing a service that can't scale - so they can live a great life and make a great living at the same time.
