Subject: The questions that quietly cost freelancers money

information is everywhere, but information alone doesn’t protect you from expensive decisions.

YOU SHOULD

HAVE KNOWN THAT

Hi Friend,

Today, I want to share a short story with you - one that many freelancers in Germany will recognize.

It’s about doing everything “right” on paper… and still ending up with decisions that quietly become expensive.

The questions that quietly cost freelancers money

When you start a business in Germany, information is everywhere.

But information alone doesn’t protect you from expensive decisions.

Recently, a client came to me after doing extensive research - Google, AI, comparisons, all of it. On paper, everything looked fine.

Once we reviewed their goals and plans together, a few early decisions no longer made sense. By adjusting them early, they avoided around 5.000 € in one-time costs and saved about 7.500 € per year going forward.

Nothing dramatic changed — just the questions we asked.

This is a pattern I see often:
People don’t lack motivation or effort. They lack clarity about what really matters for their situation.
