What’s affected?Products: Digital devices (computers, smartphones), self-service terminals (ATMs, ticket machines), consumer electronics (smart TVs, routers). Services: E-commerce sites, mobile apps, online booking systems, telecommunication, and banking services.
Who’s exempt?Micro-enterprises with fewer than 10 employees and under €2 million turnover are usually exempt if they offer only services. However, if they produce or sell physical/digital products, they must comply. Exemptions can also apply if compliance causes disproportionate burdens—this must be reported..
