Festival Resiliencia

Enjoy a full week-long festival with films, music, food, exhibits and lectures, highlighting the extraordinary journey of the Jewish people of Spanish speaking countries from May 16th through May 23rd.

Organized by the Instituto Cervantes of Albuquerque in collaboration with the Casa Sefarad, Festival Djudeo-Espanyol and the National Hispanic Cultural Center, this "Resilience Festival" commemorates the experiences of Jewish communities in Spain and the Americas. 
The event offers several fascinating art exhibits and lectures about women in the crypto-Jewish community in New Mexico, as well as a lecture with a Jewish genealogist about DNA and New Mexico.
