Subject: QSO Today Expo - Sunday Morning Update from Eric for Speakers and Moderators

Dear Friend,

We had a very successful first day at the Expo. For the most part our Restream rooms worked flawlessly, unless the speaker or moderator had a poor internet connection. This will always be an issue and the reason that we pre-record our sessions in advance to ensure the best quality.

We saw a few times that the videos had to be restarted to improve broadcast quality. We are noting any problems to improve for next time.

I attempted to preload Sunday's videos for you and discovered that Restream does not save them in the backstage when I log out. So you will have to find your video in the video storage by clicking on the + plus sign at the bottom of the menu.

A few tips:

  1. Arrive 15 minutes early so that if you have a problem, we can fix it in time.

  2. You may remind the audience at the beginning of the Q&A that the Chat button is not really chat but a submit questions button. They will not see the questions of others, only the speaker and moderators see the questions. The reason for this kind of "chat" is to reduce the chatter that you see on YouTube live presentations.

  3. If you want to go longer than an hour because you have a great audience, you are welcome to do so. If not, you can invite your audience into one of our lounges like the QSO Today Spa for more Q&A.

  4. If you have a problem, come to Emanuela in her support lounge.
