We are a week before the QSO Today Virtual Ham Expo begins and in the final tasks to make this a great ham radio event.  There are almost 20,000 hams registered now and still a week to go!

The truth is that I am so busy working with my team to open on August 8th, that I am reaching into the over 300 episodes of QSO Today to reprise an earlier episode.  One of the most relevant, with the Expo coming up, is Carole Perry, WB2MGP, who runs a Youth Forum at many of the big conventions around the USA.  With the cancellation of both Dayton and Huntsville, her opportunity to present her Youth Forum was lost for this year. 

With the help of the Radio Club of America and Carole's agreement, I asked Carole if she could do a Youth Forum in the Expo.  She agreed and put together a list of great youth speakers.  Carole will also be in the RCA booth over the weekend as well.  Be sure to stop by for a virtual "eyeball" with Carole. 

So this week's QSO Today is an interview that I made with Carole almost exactly 5 years ago.  While the time has passed quickly, Carole's story is interesting and relevant.
