QSO Today Virtual Ham Expo is now the QSO Today Academy

Dear Friend,

I hope this letter finds you in good health and high spirits. I am writing to share some exciting news with you. After six successful Expos, the QSO Today Virtual Ham Expo is undergoing a transformation and evolving into the QSO Today Academy.

You may recall that the QSO Today Virtual Ham Expo was initiated during the peak of the Covid-19 pandemic, providing a unique platform for amateur radio enthusiasts to connect and learn from the comfort of their homes. Now, with the launch of the QSO Today Academy, we are taking this experience to a whole new level.

The inaugural event at the QSO Today Academy will take place on the weekend of September 9th and 10th, 2023. This time, we will be utilizing the sequel.io video presentation platform, which will enhance the quality and interactivity of our sessions. Additionally, the Academy will introduce video roundtable discussions, allowing you to engage with presenters and subject matter experts, further expanding your knowledge and understanding.

At the heart of the QSO Today Academy are the presentations on amateur radio. Each session will feature live question and answer sessions following the presentation, giving you the opportunity to interact directly with the speakers. All presentations will be recorded for later viewing, ensuring that you can revisit and learn from them at your own pace. These recorded presentations will be made available exclusively to Academy members.

Moreover, we are delighted to announce that all the valuable content from our earlier expos, which has not been previously published, will be accessible to Academy members. This comprehensive library of resources will serve as a treasure trove of knowledge for both seasoned amateurs and newcomers alike.

As a token of our appreciation, all QSO Today Podcast Sponsors will automatically receive Academy membership and gain access to all Academy resources. We are committed to providing you with a seamless experience as you transition from the Expo to the Academy.

Tickets for the Academy weekend will be available for purchase, granting you a 30-day access period. This extended access will enable you to explore the presentations and delve deeper into the world of amateur radio.

To foster innovation and connect you with the latest developments in the field, we are introducing a dedicated ham radio vendor presentation track within the Academy.

Vendors will have the opportunity to showcase their products to Academy members, with presentations and live forums. We encourage vendors to focus on providing solutions to amateur radio problems rather than turning their presentations into infomercials. These vendor presentations will become a permanent part of the Academy's video catalog, ensuring that you have access to a wealth of practical information.
