On the weekend of July 22-24, 2022, The Poet Life will host an exciting Poetry event that will feature showcases and performances by world-renowned and local artists in the Poetry world, entertainment acts, art workshops, fitness and family fun activities, and a huge marketplace of small businesses sharing exquisite cuisine and crafts. The event, entitled "The Poet Life Fest", will attract well over thousands of people that are fans of the Poetry culture and art. Our co-host this year is none other than the talented and beautiful Ernestine Morrison (Viral Poet, Co-Founder of The Black House (Legacy Center) & Esteemed Actress) and the renowned Christopher “Cocktails” Cornell (Public Speaking Professor and Coach, Poet, Author, and Event Host). The event will gain supporters throughout the Washington DC metro area, up to New York City, and as far south as Miami, FL. During this 3-day festival filled with teaching and sharing of poetry, guests can expect vibes, fun, and more vibes.

Friday, July 22nd (7 pm-11 pm) kicks off The Poet Life Fest with an All-White Party hosted by Ernestine Morrison and Cocktails at an Atlanta staple known for its long-standing, thriving poetry community, Apache Lounge, 393 Marietta St NW, Atlanta, GA 30313. Our celebrity poet for the evening is Prentice Powell (Spoken Word Artist, Writer, Arsenio Hall Show).
Saturday, July 23rd (10 am-7 pm) is The Poet Life Festival along with workshops, seminars, and live performances from poets at The Legacy Center, 3015 RN Martin St., East Point, GA. 30344 and will be co-hosted by Ernestine Morrison & Cocktails.
Sunday, July 24th (11am-3pm) is the Farewell Sunday Brunch at Highland Bistro, 701-5 Highland Ave NE, Atlanta, GA 30312, closing out The Poet Life Festival hosted by Ernestine Morrison & Cocktails.
