The purpose of the Nia Festival is to encourage entrepreneurship, celebrate blackness, and come together to support the needs of the community.  We have four pillars that we are focusing on for this year's festival.  The pillars are Community Development, Financial Literacy, Mental and Physical Health as well as Cooperative Economics.  We will have speakers, workshops, and demos that revolve around these pillars.  Some of the workshops include healthy meal prep, yoga, sound bowl meditation, paint and pour, a documentary, and discussion around mental health.  There will be food and fun, and it is also a family-friendly event.  Come out on September 10 from 12-5 pm and be a part of the entrepreneurial growth in Southwest Atlanta.
