June 22, 2015 (Atlanta, GA) – Artistic Director Kenny Leon and True Colors Theatre Company are proud to announce the addition of R&B singer/songwriter, Anthony David, to the cast of its production of Kevin Ramsey's Chasin' dem Blues: The Untold Story of Paramount Records.  Best known for his 2008 song "Words", a duet with contemporary R&B singer India.Arie, David will play the role of bluesman, Blue. This is David's first performance with a professional theater company.

The rest of the cast includes Jeremy Cohen, Brad Raymond, Maiesha McQueen, and Che Marshall.

"Blues is the roots, everything else is the fruits." So proclaimed Willie Dixon, blues composer, famed recording-session maestro, bass man, and an early bridge between the blues and rock 'n' roll.

This thought is brought to life in the untold Story of Paramount Records, Chasin' Dem Blues. This roof-raising show is a foot-stomping, multi-media musical celebration, which thrills audiences with storytellers' account of how a small Midwest town changed the landscapes of American music, and ushered in the sound of the early 20th century, a sound that still reverberates today.

Chasin' dem Blues: The Untold Story of Paramount Records  will open on July 10, 2015 and running through August 2, 2015.  Performances are Wednesday – Saturday @ 8 PM and Saturday and Sunday @ 2:30 PM.  All performances will be presented at Fulton County's Southwest Arts Center at 915 New Hope Rd, Atlanta, GA 30331.

Tickets and Season Subscriptions are available by contacting Ticket Alternative @ 1.877.725.8849 or www.ticketalternative.com or through the True Colors website @ www.truecolorstheatre.org.
