Subject: First Thursday Healing Meditation and More

APRIL, 2021

Greetings
Friend,
Our 3 Doors meditation practice reminds us to open to what is living in us, acknowledging it, and allowing the warmth of our nature to give it a warm luminous hug. Until warm loving hugs and physical contact are available, be kind to yourself. Make time to sit, open to, and be kind to the sufferings that visit due to the pandemic, shifting economics, cultural divisiveness, and other challenges as they emerge.

And, don't hesitate to reach out, invite others to join you via Zoom or another app, for meditation, yoga, or other contemplative practice, for a birthday celebration, for a meal. Be pro-active in providing yourself what you need.

Newsletter Highlights This Month:

  • VIRTUAL FIRST THURSDAY GUIDED MEDITATION HEALING CIRCLE
  • VIRTUAL THURSDAY HALF HOUR MEDITATION SESSIONS ON        April 15th, 22nd, and 29th (No session on 4/8)
  • VIRTUAL THE 3 DOORS - FINDING REFUGE IN CHANGING TIMES
VIRTUAL

FIRST THURSDAY GUIDED MEDITATION HEALING CIRCLE
The First Thursday of the Month Guided Meditation Healing Circle is offered on Thursday, April 1st, 2021 via Zoom.

Our Guided Healing Circle Meditation is not intended to by-pass illnesses of the body, the emotions, the mind, or spirit - or the pain and suffering of each other, our families, communities, and our society.

The 3 Doors practice we share on First Thursdays is a support to open our hearts and embrace all of the reactive emotions triggered by the winds of aversion, attachment, and ignorance that cause dissatisfaction.

Please join us Thursday, April 1st, from 11 AM until 11:45 AM.

Led by Gabriel, the Healing Circle is open to everyone; there is no fee.

VIRTUAL

THURSDAY MORNING MEDITATION SESSIONS

There is a luminous, healing space of refuge within each one of us. It is important to make time to visit often and connect to the warmth of our nature. It is a prescription for liberating ourselves from unnecessary emotional reactivity; developing the capacity to host the pains of illness, loss, and grief; and remembering that others suffer just as we do, without exception, due to age, gender/sexual orientation, geographic location, ancestral origin, or political affiliation.

We sometimes forget that space exists, or where and how to find it. It is always available - it is waiting for us behind the doors of stillness, silence, and spaciousness.

This month I'm continuing to offer virtual, half hour guided meditation sessions on Thursday: 4/15, 4/22, and 4/29 @ 11 AM Eastern time. Please note there will not be a session on 4/8 as I will be leading a retreat. Everyone is welcome! There is no fee.

3 Doors Senior Teachers Marcy Vaughn and Gabriel Rocco, along with a host of 3 Doors Presenters, will be offering live, online guided meditation sessions, open to anyone who could benefit from the opportunity to renew and restore by resting in stillness, silence, and spaciousness.

Invite your friends, family and acquaintances to join us for these weekly sessions, including those individuals who are new to 3 Doors practices.

These live, online guided meditation sessions will be opportunities to learn about and practice with the 3 Doors community. Sessions will be held on Wednesday evenings from 8:00 pm – 8:30 pm Eastern time, this month of March, 2021 and running through May 26, 2021.
