Happy #FemininePowerFriday, Friend!

Did you know it is also the even of a full moon?  When I realized this I decided I had to write and share.  I am writing Friday evening. The pic above was taken last month while walking home.

As a YINpreneur™, we blend ancient wisdom and modern practice.  Coming out of our heads and into our heart and body to lead from our yin-feminine, inner wise woman and deep knowing.  Bringing head and heart together, with intuition.  One of the YINpreneur Pillars is to honor your emotions.

I grew up in a generation that encouraged us not to cry and leave our emotions out of work - especially if you were a woman.  Of course, family, friends, society were getting the same messages and we learned to hold our emotions back, stuff them down or ignore them. Doing so allows them to control and define you.  It can hold you down or hold you back from creating the life and business you desire.

Full moon energy
The full moon energy shines a light on and enhances what shows up. It can brighten positive energy or stir sad emotions.  I invite you into these three practices to honor your emotions:
  • Be aware of your feelings and emotions in any given moment. Let go of judgment and give you and your feelings space to just be. If you speak of them, be kind, gentle and forgiving.
  • Be honest and clear with yourself about your feelings, allowing them to surface versus stuffing them. Be as open to tears as you are to laughter. You have permission to express them all.
  • Know that being vulnerable is not a weakness but a strength.
When you feel more in balance, send some of that positive feeling into the world and feel it cycling back to you - as the moon moves through it's cycles.  Breathe with it.  Be it.  Honor and own your emotions.

May the light of the full moon shine brightly on you and all you desire.

From my heart to yours,
