Multi-tasking. Procrastination. Overwhelm. Oh my!!!
Yesterday's Wisdom Tea was inspired by the desire to balance the busyness in the world today and the summer energy of fire and yang-doing. It is complemented by the reading of Elaine St. James', "Simplify Your Life" and her invitation to "Do One Thing at a Time." Which reminds me to let go of multi-tasking, the busy mind, and making space for focus, peace, creativity, and balance.

Being mindful can be about sitting, breathing and reflecting on what we know as mindfulness practices. It can also be as simple as checking in to see what your mind is full of - and make space for focus, creativity, and peace. It's all about balance between the doing (yang-energy) and the being (yin-energy). Between your mindful human being and your business being.

Are the thoughts energizing or draining? Is it time to pause, breathe and reconnect? Do you have simple rituals or practices in place to help you journey from that place of disconnect, fatigue or overwhelm to peace, balance and connection (with self and higher power)? #journeytocenter

In today's Wisdom Tea, I shared a meditation inspired by this and Elaine St. James's "Simplify Your Life" invitation to "do one thing at a time." (more later in another post, with Wisdom Tea replay ...) Click here to enjoy an excerpt of the replay (free access this week)

Have you created a simple ritual, practice, or talisman to help you balance your energy? If not, take a moment to do so. K.I.S.S. = Keep It Simple And Sacred. Something you can see, say or do in a minute so there is no excuse to practice. Mastery is practice. You can lengthen your practice as it feels right.

For now, I invite you to pause, breathe, and allow space between all the doing (yang energy) to renew your spirit and your brain (yes, it runs on oxygen)

From my heart to yours,
P.S.
♥ In the full-length version I mention the Insight Timer app as a tool to practice with. I love the singing bowls over a loud, buzz alarm. Click here to enjoy on my blog or her to enjoy on YouTube.
