Intuition … the word means inner teacher    ~ Sonia Choquette
Friend,

Intuition is our inner teacher.  Our deep knowing.  It is always present.  Our practice is to be open to receiving it.

Intuition is an essential element of being a YINpreneur™.  * That deep knowing that lets you understand something without conscious reasoning.  It serves to balance and connect the head (yang) and the yin (heart).  Guiding you to connect with your source, and your best decision-maker.  In my world, it is one of the most valuable business assets.

However, there can be times when our intuition does not appear to work for us.  In these times, you may appreciate practices to nurture and engage your intuition.  Being open to receive your intuition is a key to your authentic voice and true success.

The following practices support you in receiving your intuition:
  1. Be open to your intuition.  Let go of doubt and judgment, or the need to trust.  Simply be open to allowing it to speak to you (with or without words) versus ignoring or dismissing it.
  2. Just Notice: observe what happens and how you feel when you listen to your intuition. Just notice.
  3. Be present with all of your senses.  Allow your body to help you know when your intuition is speaking to you.
  4. Creativity: spending time in the creative zone nurtures you ability to listen to your own voice.
  5. Mindfulness: as with creativity, mindfulness allows you to focus.  It also allows you to tame the monkey mind, inner noise so you can hear your intuition.
  6. Solitude: take time for self to just listen.
  7. Slow down: let go of multi-tasking.  A busy, fatigued mind does not here well.
  8. Honor your emotions:  allow you to have them without judgment.  Let go of strong, negative emotions that may cloud your mind.
  9. Journal: over the next 7 days, journal or share out loud what shows up when you notice, e.g., messages and patterns when you do, and when you don't.
  10. Gratitude: when it's working for you, honor your intuition with gratitude.
Honoring your emotions is one of the YINpreneur™ Pillars.  We have been sharing them on our virtual pilgrimage in our YINpreneur™ Wisdom Circle Facebook group.  Alternatively, you can enjoy being in practice with all 5 pillars in the pilgrimage with FB Live replays, audios, and additional resources in our new YINpreneur™ Village course (pay-what-you-can thru Thanksgiving)

If you are practicing the pillars as shared, your personal temple is supported by being fully present with with all of your senses. Taking you on a journey to your empowered center.  Your inner wise woman.  Continue to move slowly, and be present to what shows up.

From my heart to yours,
