Subject: Brother TJ is Retiring! Join us in honoring him!

Greetings, PLM Alumni!

We are excited to write you today to let you know of a very special day that is coming up. Many of you know Brother T.J. McAuley, who has been on staff as a biblical counselor at Pure Life Ministries for the last seventeen years. T.J. retired in January from full-time counseling, and we would like your help to honor him!

On February 25th, a group of current and former staff are going to gather together on the Pure Life Residential Campus and celebrate with T.J. We wish all of you could join us, but we realize most of you are too far away and have other complications that prevent you from joining us in person. There are two things you can do, though, to make this day special:

First, send a card expressing your congratulations, thanks, memories, etc. If you’d like to send a card, please mail it to: TJ McAuley 95 Narrow Way Williamstown, KY 41097. Please write “Retirement Celebration” on the envelope somewhere so we know to set it aside to give to him the day of the celebration.

Second, send us a 15-30 second video sharing your name, the year you attended the Residential or “Live-In Program” (as it used to be called), a personal greeting or congratulations to TJ on his retirement, and any favorite TJ story/memory you have. We will edit all these videos together and make one long montage to bless TJ with this day as well. You can email these to sgabbin@purelifeministries.org.

Lastly, if you are unable to send a card or a video, T.J. will still be living on campus and will be attending our Annual Conference April 28-29 at the Ark Encounter – so if you want to congratulate him in person, that would be the time to do so! You can learn more at conference.purelifeministries.org.

In Romans 13, Paul talks about giving honor to whom honor is due. We know T.J. has impacted many lives in his time here, and we thank you for helping us honor him for his many years of service and sacrifice here at Pure Life Ministries.

May God bless you,

Skip Gabbin
