Public Holiday Notice:

Labour Day on 1st May

Please note that Friday 1st May 2026 is a public holiday in Mauritius. Our office and Banks will be closed on that day. All banking transactions, including securities and forex, will resume processing on the next business day after the holiday.

Normal business operations will resume on Monday 4th May.

Every year on 1st May, Mauritius marks International Workers' Day - a national holiday dedicated to recognising the contribution of workers and championing their rights. The occasion has deep roots in the country's history. Mauritians first came together to observe it in 1938, and twelve years later, in 1950, it was formally enshrined as an official public holiday.

Should you have any queries about how this closure affects your work, please contact your designated Point of Contact.

Kind Regards,

ITL Team
