Please note that Monday 20th October 2025 is a public holiday in Mauritius. Our office and Banks will be closed on that day. All banking transactions, including securities and forex, will resume processing on the next business day after the holiday.


Normal business operations will resume on Tuesday 21st October.

Diwali, the Festival of Lights, is one of the most celebrated public holidays in Mauritius.


Beyond its cultural and religious roots, it has become a time when families, friends, and communities come together across the island.


Lighting lamps and sharing sweets show the triumph of light over darkness, hope over despair, and unity over division. In Mauritius, Diwali is a time of joy and generosity, as families share cakes and sweets across the island, a tradition that reflects the spirit of our diverse society.
