| | Introduction: The Finance (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2020 (referred hereinafter interchangeably as the “Finance Act 2020” or the “Act”) was gazetted on 7 August 2020 and provides for the implementation of most of the measures presented by the Minister of Finance, Economic Planning and Development, Dr. the Honourable Renganaden Padayachy in his budget speech delivered on 4 June 2020.
