Intercontinental Trust Ltd is proud to be associated with the secondary listing of CMB INTERNATIONAL LTD, which is the first Mauritius Global Business Company (“GBC”) to have its shares listed and traded on the Namibian Stock Exchange (“NSX”).

The issued shares of CMB International Ltd (the “Company”), were listed on the Official Market of the Stock Exchange of Mauritius Ltd (“SEM”) on Friday, 23 October 2015 and this constituted its primary listing.

Subsequently, in order to broaden its investor base and source additional capital to fund growth aspirations, as indicated in its Listing Particulars dated 9 October 2015, the Company sought a secondary listing on the Main Board of the NSX.

CMB INTERNATIONAL LTD was incorporated on 3 August 2015 in Mauritius as a public company limited by shares in accordance with the Companies Act 2001. It currently holds a Category One Global Business License issued by the Financial Services Commission and has been operational since 4 August 2015. The primary objective of the Company is to invest, through its subsidiaries, in financial services and investment banking businesses in various Sub-Saharan African markets. More specifically, the target countries in Sub-Saharan Africa which the Company has identified as being particularly attractive for investment are Mozambique, Namibia and Zambia.
