Thank you so much for Beta testing BlockBase+ for us! Today we have released a final update to the Beta for Windows and Mac users. Please update to this new version (Windows 0.1.3.0 and Mac 0.3.2.0) by logging into your account at electricquilt.com and then click on the My Downloads tab and download the BlockBase+ installer for your platform. You do not need to uninstall the previous versions of the Beta before installing this version, though you can if you want to. Once you have installed the new version, please go to Preferences > About BlockBase+ to check your version number. It should say 0.1.3.0 for Windows and 0.3.2.0 for Mac.
Please submit any final comment or bug reports by Sunday February 28, 2021.
This will be the last Beta build before the full release to the public, so any final notes are appreciated, but we also understand if they do not have time to spend on this. We know we've gone beyond our original deadline and we greatly appreciate your support and feedback throughout this process.
As a thank you for your assistance we will be providing you with the final version of the BlockBase+ software for free! We will let you know when the final version is available so that you can install it from your account. We have included many fixes in today’s final Beta update, so please read through the full Changelog and Known Issues. View the changes and known issues lists now > A few important changes and known issues: We have changed the way seam allowance corners are cut for Half Square Triangles and Quarter Square Triangles to match how EQ8 cuts them. We would love to hear your feedback on this. Marking blocks for the Category search is not yet complete. This means that Category searches will not yet return expected results. Date search is not yet implemented. BlockBase+ is now linking to EQ8. If you own EQ8, we sent out a separate EQ8 beta update that allows you to link the BB+ blocks as a library in EQ8+. If you own EQ8 and have not received an email from us about the new EQ8 update, please let me know.
