Meet our Teachers

Whether you’re brand new to EQ8 or a seasoned user looking to go deeper, these instructors make learning approachable, fun, and seriously empowering!

Adam loves all things in the quilting, fiber arts world! You might know him as his social media personality Adam Sew Fun. He brings a fresh view to the quilt world and takes out-of-the-box approaches to projects and techniques. He has been traveling the world as a longarm educator since 2018, showing new owners that anyone can do it. His favorite part of teaching is when a timid student leaves with the confidence to continue along on their journey. He has a fun, low-key teaching style that really connects with many students.

Lori Miller is a quilter, pattern designer, teacher and EQ8 superfan from Oxford, Michigan. Sewing since age 11, Lori has deep roots in sewing and quilting traditions that add a unique dimension to her designs. Using EQ for the design process, Lori’s quilts have been exhibited nationally and her fresh designs have been published in numerous magazines, including American Patchwork & Quilting magazine's current sew along, A Patchwork Year.

Jenny is the Education Director at EQ and teaches the EQ At Home online classes. She started as a graphic design intern in 2001 and stayed on after she graduated from college. Jenny learned how to design “virtual quilts” using EQ long before she knew how to sew them. But it was only a matter time before she caught the quilting bug! Now she loves foundation paper piecing and sharing EQ with students both online and in-person at EQ Academy.
