This update is for owners of EQ8 software. Download and install the EQ8 Update for Windows (1.1.0.3) or Mac (3.2.0.3) now! This update resolves compatibility issues with the macOS Big Sur and also gives EQ8 the ability to link the new BlockBase+ blocks when it's released.

Mac users: This version of EQ8 requires High Sierra (macOS 10.13) or newer. If your computer does not run at least macOS 10.13, do not update your EQ8 to the current 3.2.0.3 version of EQ8.

Windows users: This version requires Windows 7 or newer.

Link the new BlockBase+ to your EQ8!

Windows and Mac users: Planning on purchasing the new, stand-alone BlockBase+ software when it's released? Then you will want to update your EQ8 if you would like to use the blocks to design quilts! While EQ8 is not required for BlockBase+, without this new EQ8 Update, you will not be able to link the BlockBase+ blocks to your EQ8 Block Library.

The BlockBase+ release is just around the corner! (Yes... it's coming soon!) Download and install the EQ8 Update now so when you do purchase BlockBase+, the new blocks will easily link right to your EQ8 Block Library. No hassles, no fuss!

BlockBase+ does not require EQ8 software. However, you will need it if you want to link the blocks to EQ8. Please note that this EQ8 Update only adds the ability to see and use the BlockBase+ blocks in EQ8. No features from BlockBase+ are added to EQ8.

Compatibility with macOS Big Sur (11)

Mac users: This EQ8 Update will also resolve compatibility issues with macOS Big Sur (11), as well as a window-freezing issue that some customers were experiencing occasionally.

This update does not add compatibility for the new Apple Silicon M1 chip processor. Please read here about EQ8 and computers with the M1 chip.
