We hope you have had a fantastic summer and were able to enjoy the great weather!

It is difficult to believe that it is "back to school" already, but this signals the official start of the Fall real estate market. The market fundamentals this past summer were stronger than anticipated, which means this will be translate into a very active Fall for buyers and sellers. Multiple offers are becoming increasingly common again in the ‘416’, while the ’905’ has seen increase in sales volume and prices since the Spring time.

We are pleased with the Supreme Court’s recent decision to decline the Toronto Real Estate Board’s appeal on the restriction of home-sale data. Hopefully this will allow further innovation both online and with mobile apps to empower consumers with sales data to better educate themselves when purchasing a home. Please do read this month’s feature article from the Globe and Mail for further perspective.
