We hope you are having a great summer! Toronto is a great place to be in the summer time with no shortage of events. There is something for everyone this month including the Beaches International Jazz Festival, Toronto Food Truck Festival, Caribana or the Taste of the Danforth!
Toronto real estate prices continue to hold steady, despite some of the negative press reports. The HPI (Home Price Index) which measures price trends for a similar “basket” of single family homes, condos, and townhouses, shows prices for freeholds in Toronto to be flat from April to June.
We expect the real estate re-sale market in September to be driven by Sellers and expect homes in good locations to continue to sell quickly and in multiple offers.

| "Greater Toronto Area REALTORS® reported 7,974 sales through TREB's MLS® System in June 2017 – down by 37.3 per cent in comparison to June 2016.
The number of new residential listings entered into TREB's MLS® System, at 19,614, was up by 15.9 per cent compared to June 2016. While this annual rate of growth was sizeable, it represented a more moderate annual rate of growth compared to May 2017, when new listings were up by 48.9 per cent year-over-year"
