June Newsletter

Greetings from Alex and Elaine!

We are officially into Summer now and not only are the temperatures in Toronto hot and sizzling, so is the Toronto Real Estate Market again! Any uncertainty around how the market would recover after a global pandemic has been eliminated. So far in June, market activity is up in almost all segments across the GTA, and in some pockets, the numbers defy logic and expectations.

How have the past few months been at your home? Most of us were caught off-guard with having to homeschool and work from home on short notice – did you manage to setup some space to do both? Were you grateful for the living situation you were in? Or what would you change? Did those least favourite parts of your home bother you more after “staying in place” for the past few months? Are renovation plans in the works? If a second wave were to hit later this Fall/Winter, what would be on your wishlist if you had to work from home once again?

You may have questions about the market activity in your current neighbourhood. You may be wondering about timing if you did have thoughts about upsizing/downsizing. Perhaps your job may allow you the option to work from home permanently which means that you have more flexibility to choose WHERE you live, without consideration for a daily commute. Let us know! We can help sort out the many questions you may have, breakdown the steps that may need to happen in order for you to achieve your goals, and provide data to support or dispel the headlines you’ve been reading. Book a time to chat with us today!
