Mohamed Nabil
Mohamed started his career as a junior associate with Sharkawy & Sarhan. Before that, Mohamed was a student of Law, English Section, at Cairo University, and graduated with distinguished honors as one of the top ten students of his class. He was seconded to Allen & Overy Dubai for a period of four months during 2014.
Mohamed’s practice focuses on capital market, M&A and finance. Mohamed is leading Sharkawy & Sarhan’s prolific power and energy practice. During his years with Sharkawy & Sarhan, he advised several multinational companies, banks and IFIs on their transactions and projects in Egypt including, BNP Paribas S.A., Standard Chartered Bank, Credit Agricole, IFC, EBRD, Nestle S.A., Altimo and EFG Hermes. Most notably, Mohamed advised BNP Paribas S.A. on the SPA and escrow arrangement for the sale of all its shares in its Egyptian subsidiary, Bank BNP Paribas S.A.E., to Emirates NBD PJSC and advised UBS and Credit Suisse on the first rights’ issue for Egyptian depository certificates issue on the Swiss Stock Exchange for Orascom Development Holding.
