Hi Friend,

If you are reading this during the day on Wednesday, May 17, I'm probably shedding happy tears watching my daughter graduate from college. ♥

As promised, I want to be more in touch and share highlights of conversations and questions from our Virtual RetreatU™ Mastery circle.  Our new implementation masterminds are a great source of ideas.

A recent mastermind meeting focused on choosing a topic for your first virtual retreat.  I chose to bring it to the forefront when I discovered it was a key reason standing in the way of women leading their first retreat. My intention, to help women get clear and feel inspired to choose a topic with ease.

Here are a few ideas to consider as you approach this topic.
These may not be new to you, yet I hope they inspire you, help you organize your thoughts & heart, to take action to lead your first retreat:
  1. Consider what you are already sharing, e.g.: if you've lead a land retreat, consider a virtual retreat to keep retreat alive or take the attendees deeper into a practice you shared during the live retreat.  If you teach an online course?  Consider a half-day virtual retreat to focus on the details of implementation or going deeper - and the benefits of two-way exchange and group sharing.
  2. Consider who you are already serving, e.g., Do you have private clients who you believe would benefit from being in circle in the spirit of a land-based meet and greet?  Are you leading a group that's working hard on a project and needs some time away from the work, to just breathe, be and practice self-care?  Do
  3. Consider groups of which you are a member, e.g., Maybe you are a member of a church or yoga circle that would appreciate you bringing them together around topics addressed in your group - without leaving home or between meetings.A nonprofit for which you volunteer that deserves a time to breathe, plan and organize.
  4. Your social media circle: take a look at the posts that receive the most engagement and see how they could become a retreat, e.g., a woman who creates and posts mandalas considered leading a virtual retreat around mandalas (making or the power of ).
  5. Personal rituals and celebrations: Do you have personal rituals or practices that my be perfect for a virtual retreat, e.g., art, writing, 5 elements, de-cluttering
