URSA Gallery is proud to present a one-of-a-kind art opening and concert event! Embracing the transformative phase of their space, the event celebrates the creative process, offering a rare glimpse into the middle stages of opening an art gallery and coffee roasting business. In Medias Res, Latin for “in the midst of things,” encapsulates the essence of this event, providing attendees with an immersive experience that highlights the beauty of creation and evolution. The gallery/coffee roasting space, still under construction, becomes part of the exhibit itself, allowing visitors to engage with the art and the environment in a new way.

THE GREATER BRIDGEPORT SYMPHONY PRESENTS "MINGLING WITH MOZART"

Led by Maestro Eduardo Leandro, this concert features Mozart’s last symphony, Number 41, the Jupiter Symphony. The first half of the concert focuses on Mozart’s lyrical opera compositions, starting with the overture to The Marriage of Figaro. Then soprano Jessica Rizzio and baritone Thomas Woodman will take the stage to sing excerpts from Figaro, as well as Don Giovanni, Cosi Fan Tutte, and The Magic Flute, ending with the comical Pa pa pa Papagena/Papageno aria, sung in English.
