Part of the Charles Ives Music Festival (CIMF) Summer 2022 series of free concerts, featuring works that contemplate existence, our greater place in the universe, or the heavens in some way. Music Festival Artist-Faculty, representing some of the most talented early-career artists in the United States, will perform engaging selections by Charles Ives, Vaughan Williams, Han Lash, Jon Cziner and Will Stackpole.

This free performance on the rear patio of the museum spotlights the legendary American jazz bassist, who played in saxophonist Gerry Mulligan's bands in the 1950s and 1960s, along with pianist David Childs, saxophonist Bob Kolb, drummer Tom Melito, and vocalist Janet Zamparo. Bring your chairs, blankets, and a picnic to enjoy during the event.

This is a tribute inspired by her French and Romanian Gypsy heritage and her love for the Parisian art scene of the 1920s to the 1960s. BYO-lawn chair & picnic.
