CAMP MOCA

MoCA Westport

Art activities, hands-on agricultural lessons, and tons of indoor and outdoor fun! Options for half days or full days for a single week or multiple weeks over the summer. Older campers, ages 9-12, may sign up for a weekly Afternoon Art Intensive program. Lots of options for kids 3 1/2 -12.

Stepping Stones Museum, Norwalk

Dig into Earth’s past and learn about the animals who lived long ago through hands-on activities and investigations. Learn about famous discoveries and how paleontologists piece together the past. For Ages 5 - 8

MARITIME AQUARIUM SUMMER CAMP

JUN 20 - AUG 19

The Maritime Aquarium at Norwalk

A hands-on program that will fuel the wonder of sharks, seals, turtles and other fascinating marine animals through the fun. One- and two-week programs are available for ages 6-8 and 9-12. A three-week "Teen Apprentice" program for ages 13-15 starts August 1st.

SUMMER ART STUDIOS

Silvermine School of Art, New Canaan

For ages 3 - 17, explore visual art outside the traditional classroom experience. Over 100 art studio camp sessions in painting, drawing, photography, woodworking, ceramics, metal sculpture, jewelry, digital arts, animation, mixed media, glass flameworking, and special studies.

Innovation is the name of the game in this week of STEAM investigations. Discover how things work and then invent, create and build new toys, machines, structures. Work with a team, design solutions to problems and overcome obstacles. Ages 5 - 10.

MINI-ART CAMP

JUN 27 – JUL 1

Greenwich Arts Society

For 6-8 year olds, explore a variety of mediums, learning new skills and improving old ones. For 9-12 year olds, the Afternoon program focuses on painting techniques and color mixing. Hone drawing skills and learn about shape, composition and form.

Neighborhood Studios of Fairfield County, Bridgeport

Named in honor of founder, Patricia Hart, this "Camp for Everyone" program is an opportunity for children ages 6 - 21 with special needs and their non-disabled peers to explore the visual and performing arts. Study theater, dance/movement, music and the visual arts. An original play is created by the children and staff and performed.

SUMMERSTOCK CREATIVE THEATRE WORKSHOPS

Curtain Call Theatre, Stamford

For Grade 6 - 12, a full-day, conservatory-style workshop program in Modern Acting, Classical Acting and Improv. Students hone creative, collaborative and social skills as well as performance skills. The program takes place completely in the professionally run theatre facilities at Sterling Farms, Stamford.

CAMP WCP 2022

Westport Country Playhouse

Young folks are encouraged to use their voice on issues that matter to them and turn it into something theatrical. Middle school students will explore the art of playwriting and create their own play. Guided by a professional Theater for Young Audiences playwright, the young artists will collectively create stories and perform their play at the Playhouse before an audience of family and friends.

Four fabulous options: Rising Stars (Gr K-2), act, sing and dance to excerpts from popular Disney musical films; Broadway’s Best (Gr 7-8), a Musical Theatre Intensive with Bway professionals; Under the Big Top (Gr 3-8), exploring music, scene work and choreography straight out of the circus; Broadway Blockbusters (Gr 3-8), exploring music, scenes and dances from Bway hits.

Ever wonder what it might be like to be a professional artist, musician, singer, actor or dancer? Conservatory prepares Bridgeport teens, 13-18 years old for college and career in the visual and performing arts. Participants ages 14-18 earn a stipend.

Exciting and inspiring, Piano Camp with Chris Liccardo and Head of the SMS piano department, Kumiko Imamura, is designed for pianists at advanced Suzuki Book 1 to Book 7 and beyond. Masterclasses, performance class, music theory, chamber music designed for pianists.

Eating healthy can be fun and exciting when you make it art! Spend time in an edible garden learning how to grow food. Harvest fresh fruits, vegetables, and herbs to create a delicious dish. Trade utensils for paintbrushes and be inspired by artists. Ages 5-10

Valentina Kozlova Dance Conservatory, Norwalk

A summer of dance for ages 5 and up! Classes are taught by Valentina Kozlova and select faculty. Offering technique, pointe, contemporary, and workshop/variations.

Suzuki Music Schools, Westport

Suzuki Music Schools' popular Summer Camp returns for a sixth season! This 5-day program is for strings, piano, guitar and flute students ages 6-12 who have been receiving weekly private instruction for at least a year. Activities include orchestra, group classes, African drumming, music theory and other social activities.
