The Westport Library co-presents with the Playhouse this documentary about Sarah Golabek-Goldman’s excursion to Poland to teach English in the village of Zakliczyn. Visiting other towns where her family lived before World War II, she discovered the gravestone of her great-great-grandmother Leah Tickotsky. The film provides a perspective on pre-World War II history and serves as a reminder of the extraordinary contributions Jews made to Poland over nine centuries. Followed by a short Q&A with Mona Golabek. More...
