Welcome to the New Year!

Welcome to the first work week of 2022. We invite you to stop and take a big breath. Close your eyes and immerse yourself in the beauty of this landscape or any landscape that inspires you. Now, let your imagination run wild and imagine what the ideal arts and culture landscape looks like to you.

What do you see?

We see the rich diversity of peoples, cultures, and communities. We see people listening to and learning from each other’s experience and ideas. We see barriers coming down, lots of engagement, and space for meaningful participation and collaboration. We see something as vast, wide, and beautiful as this landscape.

That’s why we're excited to begin 2022 with Cultural Alliance 2.0 - a new pro-active approach aimed at significantly diversifying our region's cultural infrastructure. Our work launches with an ongoing Listening Campaign, and begins with the creation of a network of Culture Connectors. This network will help us to broaden and deepen the region's arts and cultural life by placing equity at the heart of everything we do.

Will you help us to do this meaningful work? We are just $2500 away from reaching our $7,500 goal by January 25th which will be matched dollar-for-dollar by Sustainable CT. Learn more and contribute any amount at https://patronicity.com/CultureConnectors . Thank you!

Cheers to continuing to build thriving communities together. Cheers to the new year!
