The opening reception for a new multi-media sculpture exhibit by Joe Fucigna at the Housatonic Museum of Art. DRIP-DROP, TICK-TOCK, HERE + NOW features modest industrial materials transformed into elegant, yet provocative abstractions. The majority of work are selections from three series inspired by everyday materials. Featuring works by Cultural Alliance member artist Ann Weiner, this show spotlights eight life-size sculptures representing current women’s rights activists who have suffered and survived abuse because of their gender.
