Explore STEAM concepts as sound waves become visible, bringing music to life before the audience’s very eyes in this Fairfield Library presentation for school-age children and their families. Lin literally transforms sound into a visual representation through the use of her five-string electric violin and modern technology. All About Algae

Bruce Museum Seaside Center

Dr. Craig Schneider, Trinity College, will talk about deep water algae from Bermuda collected by submersible and rebreather diving, and will show some underwater movies as part of the talk. Then, Simona Augyte, PhD candidate at UConn, will discuss local seaweeds and help identify algae in a seaweed pressing activity. (More)
