"COMING OUT OF COVID"
WED. JULY 20, 2022
9:30am-4pm
ALL-MEMBER CONVENING

CALLING ALL MEMBERS: Artists, EDs, board members, business owners, funders, gallery staff, marketing officers–all staff.

Come join us for an all-member convening to remember and share what we have experienced since March 2020. What strengths, skills, and awareness have we developed, and how can we help to shape the future?

Encouraged by the community-building we experienced throughout our weekly Community Calls during the peak of COVID, this convening is designed to support our members to come together to share their experiences of surviving the interrelated (continuing) crises of 2020-22 - What was hardest, what helped, what new resources and partnerships emerged? Be prepared to explore how we are remaking ourselves: what new strengths, skills, and capabilities have we developed? How are we now “showing up” differently in the world?

GOALS FOR THE MEETING:
Organized around small-group listening, sharing and reporting, as well as plenty of plenary discussion, the goals for our meeting are:

1. Building Community: To build a greater sense of community and camaraderie from remembering and sharing what we all experienced — including all participating members’ voices and experiences.

2. Reflection on how we are remaking ourselves: what new strengths, skills and awareness have we developed? Are we now “showing up” differently in the world due to our learning?

3. What’s Next? We’ll briefly present “Cultural Alliance 2.0” and hear others’ post-COVID plans and strategies.

$10 suggested fee will contribute towards cost of refreshments and lunch. All CAFC members are encouraged to participate. If an event fee is a hardship, you are welcome to attend without any payment. If you can contribute more than $10 toward CAFC’s costs, your generosity is welcome and appreciated.
Vaccination certificates will be required.
