Most people say they want peace, but they also want to manage every outcome. This lesson calls that out. You can’t have both. If you’re still trying to handle the future by yourself, you’re not trusting. You’re planning. And if your plans are based on fear, they’re not coming from Spirit. Admit You Don’t Know
Say it honestly: “I don’t know what will make me truly happy.” That truth creates space for real help.
Place It in the Hands of God
Pick the situation and say it out loud: “I place this in the hands of God.” Repeat as needed.
Give This Moment to Love
You can’t give the whole future, but you can give this moment. Then give the next.
Let Life Edit Itself
When you stop managing, what doesn’t belong will leave. Spirit will sort what fear was holding together.
You don’t need a breakthrough. You need a rhythm that allows you to flow in surrender from one moment to the next. You don’t need to be perfect. You just need to be honest. And every time you give a moment to God, you come closer to peace—not later, but now.
This week, I encourage you to work through this 4-step process in real-time. Use it in traffic. Use it when you check your bank account. Use it when you find yourself scripting someone else’s reaction. Let the Course work by letting go, not by trying harder.
