Hello Mighty Companions,

When we think of spiritual practice, we often picture stillness, solemn meditation, and serious self-inquiry. But what if one of the most powerful spiritual tools isn't silence, but laughter?

In this week’s A Course in Miracles review (Lesson 59), we’re reminded that divine connection isn’t solemn—it’s joyful. It tells us over and over: God goes with me wherever I go. That means you're not alone when you're in pain, and you're not alone when you're laughing so hard you can't breathe.

The ego wants us to take ourselves seriously. It says enlightenment must be earned through suffering and guilt. But Spirit says otherwise. As I shared this week, “We are going to officially authorize laughter as a spiritual practice.” Because laughter softens resistance. It lifts fear. And most of all, it reminds us that the truth is safe, and we are already home.

You don’t have to prove yourself worthy. You don’t have to analyze every fear. You just have to remember. And sometimes, remembering looks like repeating a sacred idea... and sometimes it looks like laughing at how seriously we’ve taken the illusion.

So yes—come with your questions, your doubts, your curiosity. But also bring your willingness to lighten up. The light gets in faster that way.

We don’t gather to be serious.
We gather to be sincere—and to remember who we really are. Together.

With peace, joy… and a few good laughs along the way.

With love and appreciation,
Earl

What If Laughter Is Your Shortcut to Healing?

After more than 45 years of teaching A Course in Miracles, I’ve learned that the Truth doesn’t need to be forced—it just needs to be remembered. And sometimes, the fastest way to remember is to
lighten up.

My role as a coach and mentor isn’t to push you through the Course—it’s to help you bypass the ego’s defenses so the love that’s already in you can rise to the surface. That might happen through a deep moment of stillness… or it might happen through a laugh that breaks your fear wide open.

Lesson 59 reminds us that God goes with us wherever we go. That means your healing doesn’t have to happen in a meditation cave. It can happen in your kitchen. In traffic. At work. It can happen mid-joke, mid-tear, mid-breakdown.

Sometimes the Course uses words that bring up old baggage. That’s why I use language that disarms the ego and opens the heart—not to water the truth down, but to set it free. When I say “laughter is a spiritual practice,” I mean it. It’s how we sneak past the inner critic. It’s how we stop taking illusion seriously.

So if you’re ready to remember with more ease, more joy, and yes—more humor—I’d love to walk beside you. Whether it’s through a clarity session, one-on-one mentoring, or a coaching series, my job is to help you get there faster... by helping you get out of your own way.

You don’t have to do this alone.
You were never doing it alone to begin with.

Let’s laugh our way home.

You are never alone: A Loving Reminder from ACIM Lesson 59.

There’s something I’ve seen over and over again in my decades of studying and teaching A Course in Miracles: loneliness is not about being without people. It’s about forgetting the truth of who—and what—you really are. The Course isn’t trying to give us new beliefs. It’s trying to help us remember what’s always been true: you are loved, you are supported, and you are never, ever alone.

Astrological Insights: Emotionally Charged Week Ahead

On July 16, the Moon in Aries acted like a match striking a bundle of cosmic kindling—activating Neptune, Saturn, Uranus, and Pluto all within a short window. The Moon represents our emotional body, and Aries adds fire, urgency, and intensity. When the Moon touches outer planets like these, it doesn’t just stir passing moods—it ignites a deeper emotional wave that plays out over several days.

What’s amplifying this wave? Several major planetary shifts: Uranus has just entered Gemini, shaking up our mental circuitry and communication patterns. Expect erratic thoughts, surprising insights, and an inner restlessness that can feel both exciting and chaotic. Meanwhile, both Saturn and Neptune are retrograde in Aries, turning our attention inward and pressing on the parts of us that want to grow, but also fear letting go. It’s the perfect storm for ego flare-ups—and the perfect invitation to laugh at them.

As A Course in Miracles reminds us: “I am never upset for the reason I think.” Let the emotions come without judgment. Don’t grip the story. Breathe, bless it, and—yes—laugh at the drama. You’re not broken. You’re just clearing space for a new perception.
