Let’s talk about real forgiveness. Not the kind where you grit your teeth and pretend you're not mad. Not the kind where you say “I forgive you,” but inside, you’re still holding that same old grudge. I'm talking about Course in Miracles forgiveness — the kind that shifts your entire perception. The kind that sets you free.


The Course says, “Forgiveness offers everything I want.” And it means that literally.

What Is Forgiveness, Really?

A Course in Miracles defines forgiveness as correct perception. Not excusing, not forgetting — just seeing the truth instead of the illusion. The truth is, no one has actually done anything to you. What hurts is not what happened, but the way you’re seeing it. If you feel lighter after forgiving, you’ve done it right. If you’re still looking for ways to avoid someone in the grocery store, you’ve got more work to do. And that’s okay. This is a process. You don’t even have to believe it. Just use it.
