Lately, I’ve been thinking about gentleness. Not the kind the world sees as passive, but the kind that rises up when you remember who you really are. The Course says the truly gentle are fearless, and that they cannot suffer. That kind of gentleness isn’t a reaction. It’s a decision. Our world needs more gentle people.
When I’m being gentle, I’m not defending. I’m not attacking. I’m not trying to be right. I’m just letting myself be guided by love. And every time I choose that, I feel stronger.
