Hello, My Mighty Companion,

Every new year comes with pressure to become something more. Better habits. Deeper healing. A fresh start. And while the desire to grow can be sincere, it often hides a quieter belief beneath it — that who you are right now isn’t quite enough. That peace, love, and worth still need to be earned. Even longtime spiritual students can find themselves quietly trying to “fix” their way into freedom.

Lesson 189 from A Course in Miracles offers a radical alternative: “I feel the Love of God within me now.” Not after you improve. Not once you’ve figured it all out. Now. This isn’t just a comforting idea — it’s a shift in perception. A release from striving. This week, Earl invites us to begin the year not with another effort to change, but with a willingness to feel what’s already true. Because the love you’re looking for isn’t waiting at the end of your growth — it’s already within you, right now.

Prepare for the Year Ahead

You Don't Need Fixing

You are not being asked to improve yourself. You are being asked to notice what’s already true. The love you’re trying to find is already in you. The peace, the joy, the wholeness — it’s all there.

You’re not broken. You’re just distracted. That’s what Lesson 189 reminds us. You don’t need to work harder. You need to pause, breathe, and feel what’s already present.

Love is already inside you. Love is YOU.

You Don’t Have to Believe It

The Course says clearly: you don’t have to believe these ideas. You don’t even have to like them. You might resist some of what you hear. It’s not about belief. It’s about use.

Use the idea anyway. Say the words:

“I feel the Love of God within me now.”

Say it when you’re stressed. Say it when you’re judging yourself. Say it when you’re afraid. You’re not affirming what you wish was true. You’re remembering what is true.

The World Mirrors Your Inner State

You’re always seeing one of two worlds: a fearful world or a loving world. But never both at the same time. The world you see reflects the state of your mind.

When guilt, fear, or judgment are active, the world feels dark and unsafe. When you feel the love of your Creator, the world feels lighter, safer, and more connected.

The Course says:
“You will look upon that which you feel within.”

✨ Astrological Energy This Week: A Sacred Support in the Sky

This week, as we remember that we can feel the Love of God within us now, it helps to look up — to reflect on what’s unfolding in the vast movement of the planets. Sometimes we forget how deeply we’re supported. But even the heavens reflect divine order. God’s Love is so complete, so total, that even the stars align to help us walk each step with more awareness.

From January 6 to 16, a powerful Capricorn stellium brings focused energy around structure, responsibility, and long-term growth. The Sun, Mercury, Venus, and Mars all gather in this grounded earth sign, and you may feel a strong pull to clarify goals or make things happen. Rather than resisting that energy, let it show you where your inner structures are ready to be rebuilt — not from fear or effort, but from remembrance and peace.

On January 8, the Venus–Mars conjunction stirs desire and action. This can be a beautiful moment for new creative sparks or relationship insights, especially when grounded in truth rather than ego expectation. Then, on January 9, the Sun joins Mars, amplifying motivation and willpower. If it feels like too much, pause. You are not behind. Let love lead.

By January 17, Venus enters Aquarius, inviting more freedom and ease in how we connect and relate. This marks a transition from structure to spaciousness — and reminds us that the path ahead is not about pressure, but trust.

Let the sky remind you: you are not doing this alone.
