Subject: Major release news - Double Eyelid's Hallowe'en EP dropping Oct 10

Hi Friend,

It's been a loooong while! Hello!

If you're reading this, I appreciate that you're still here and on our list. This project has been laying low for awhile. I went through several once-in-a-lifetime difficult life events over the space of less than a year between mid-2024 and 2025, and had to put my art on the back burner just to survive.

But now we're back, and we're back with something big.

I'm pleased to announce that on Friday October 10, we're dropping the Hallowe'en release you didn't know you needed - my adaptation of Edgar Allan Poe's 'The Tell-Tale Heart.'

This is much more than a dramatic reading - I read it, sing it, and (sort of) rap it, all over of a musical score that in some sections rocks harder than anything we've ever done. It's like Sabbath meets Bowie meets Christopher Lee meets the BBC Orchestra. And at 21 minutes of new music from us, it's the biggest new Double Eyelid release in a while.

This is the realization of a vision that I've had for years, but also the product of a lot of intense work over the last several months.

If you're in Toronto, we'll be having a low-key listening party for it on release day in the early evening at The Wych (1150 Davenport Rd). Come at 7, we'll spin it once at 7:15 and again at 8:30 before their 'Dysfunktion' dance party starts. No cover charge, just a chance to join me in person to celebrate this unique thing we've done on its release day.

So- October 10, The Tell-Tale Heart drops on Bandcamp! Please listen, support, pre-order if you like, and if you are in Toronto, join us for a free event to celebrate!

And if you use Spotify or one of the other streaming services, don't worry - it should be releasing on those before the end of the month, I'll keep you posted!

Thanks so much for supporting what we do!
