Free Dental, Vision, and Medical Services Offered for People in Need: Seattle/King County Clinic returns for a fifth year to KeyArena at Seattle Center with services for those who struggle to access or afford healthcare. It will be held September 20-23. (more)

Get Some Kitten Cuddles at Kitty Hall: The kittens are back! The fifth annual Kitty Hall returns to Seattle on Thursday, Aug. 30 and the public is invited to meet, greet and, of course, cuddle kittens. (more)

Update on the City of Seattle’s Navigation Team: Mayor Durkan has made important investments to expand the team’s capacity and to create hundreds of new shelter spaces for people experiencing homelessness. (more)

Neighborhood & Community Arts Grants Now Accepting Applications: This program supports creativity at a grassroots level by investing in recurring festivals or events that promote arts and cultural participation, celebrate diversity, build community connections, and enhance the visibility of neighborhoods through arts and culture. City Awards $400,000 to Improve Digital Equity: Projects receiving funds will support a broad range of community-driven, collaborative solutions to achieve digital equity in Seattle. They will reach over 8,300 residents, including immigrants, refugees, seniors, youth, and people with disabilities. (more)

Celebrate the 2018 Mayor's Arts Awards Recipients on Thursday, August 30: The Mayor's Arts Awards recognize the accomplishments of artists, arts and cultural organizations and community members committed to enriching their communities through the arts. (more)

Pilot Streetlight Project in Pioneer Square and Pike Place Market: Seattle City Light is piloting a program to improve customer safety, reduce carbon emissions and conserve resources by installing LED streetlight fixtures in the downtown Seattle area. (more)
