Subject: Friend It's your Fast Friday message from Joan

St. Faustina fasted for what???
-

Dear Friend,

Yesterday, August 25th, was the 117th birthday of St. Maria Faustina Kowalska of the Blessed Sacrament. Although she died in 1938 at the young age of 33, there is great expectation that she will one day be declared "Doctor of the Church." Not bad for someone who only went to school during three winters!

In her Diary, St. Faustina records a special task given to her by the Lord. We share it with you today in our Fast Friday message in hopes that it will help you keep with your commitment to fast, and to fast well!

If you haven't yet read the Diary of St. Faustina, we encourage you to dive into it soon. To order just click here: Diary of St. Faustina.

Hoping you have a very blessed Fast Friday.
