Dear Friend,

This picture proves that we, Dave and Joan Maroney, have been working with the Marian Fathers to spread the Divine Mercy message and devotion for a long time. We were asked to do this out of the blue in the fall of 1998. After nine months of discernment and the blessing of Fr. Seraphim Michalenko, MIC, pictured with us here, we quit our jobs to travel to parishes and schools across the country and beyond for months at a time.

In case you don't know, Fr. Seraphim was the one who smuggled St. Faustina's transcripts out of Poland in 1979. He worked on publishing the first Polish Diary and the translations into English and Spanish. He served as vice-postulator for the cause of St. Faustina's canonization and is even believed to be written about in St. Faustina's Diary, passage 1689:

Today, I saw two enormous pillars implanted in the ground; I had implanted one of them, and a certain person, S.M., the other. We had done so with unheard-of effort, much fatigue and difficulty. . .

The S.M. is thought by many to be Seraphim Michalenko!

Fr. Seraphim, pray for us!

Sadly, Fr. Seraphim passed away on February 11, 2021, but not before leaving us incredible teachings and insights into the Divine Mercy message and devotion.
